Very sad.

He was one of my favorite meteorologists on TWC. Good memories watching him late at night.

He was one of my favorites. Always loved his insights and art work. He would always make your mind work with interesting analogies and perspectives. Cancer sucks!

Terrible loss. I remember that short time when he was off air (well, he actually stayed in Atlanta on CBS which I received, but I never watched that station). I was really happy when he came back to TWC. Just seemed so personable

Nice 2 minute video. The part with the chalkboard was what I loved best and it was just couple weeks ago I seen him doing stuff. He still went to work with the cancer

I always enjoyed his forecast presentation. His Philly accent was unmistakable to me as soon as I heard him on TWC I knew he was from here. Cancer does suck.

Nice tribute.

Dave Schwartz in 2000, back when TWC was low key and less flashy.

Dave Schwartz was the last Weather Channel person left that I liked. I didn't know he had the "big C" but I noticed a year ago or so, he looked not too long for the world. Just didn't "look right."

Oh the days when the now completely useless WC had real cool people and even some hot men, like: Don Buser ("my honey"), Jeanetta Jones (doll), Dale Dockus, Bill Schubert (Mmmm), even the skinny little Italian guy that looked like Topo Gigio [I forget his name]. A totally trashed TV channel. I can't imagine what it's supposedly aimed at anymore.
