A positive AMO, along with a positive PDO, can lead to a very cold winter in the eastern 2/3rds.. Add a weak La Nina and we might see a very severe winter.

Last December, I was depressed for real. Over 11F above normal








I want that model solution for December SO bad! Nothing is better than a cold snow holiday season.

I'll accept a record breaking cold winter as long as it means we get endless 70s from March 1st until June. But obviously that's not happening so I just hope we don't get a repeat of 14/15
