Yes, thanks for the reminder. Not sure what was the point of posting that, lol.
I'd love a 70° morning right about now, we haven't had one since October, next one won't be til April more than likely

Most of my lows also will be 40 plus, funny either my lows are 40s or 20s. No in between. The dig next week does not look as potent as this one was for here. 70s are close by so it would only take the ridge a nudge north and we reach 70.

I didn't realize how bad it was down there, imagine if those arctic blasts were not coming down, whole south east would be in your boat.

Lol, Wunderground is showing freezing rain for eastern NC next Friday night. I would like to see the GFS frame for that storm.

A brisk 29 F/-2 C after a high of only 31 F/-1 C today. Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow afternoon into Monday morning with a few inches of snow possible. Forecast highs only in the 20s later this week along with more snow chances. Didn't think we'd get a cold and snowy December again.

No freezing rain on GFS, though previous runs have shown a brief period of ice in central nc. Eastern NC and anything frozen don't normally go together. This is only precipitation that is shown in that time period, Friday night all moisture is well offshore.

Went to a dinner party in Larchmont, NY (suburb of NYC). Couldn't wait to get back home for one reason.

I drove through a snow squall! It didn't last long (120 seconds?) and was clear skies facing south and on I-95. So I knew it was a localized cloud.

Sure enough... See it?

A loop.. It's from Lake Erie.. My sister has 18" of snow on ground from Lake effect. All we get is snow showers from it. lol

Why do I feel like I miss so much not looking at maps, models and radars for 2 hours???!
