6.6° now. Blowing out the season low yesterday of 12°

Couple 7am temp maps... Another cold morning down south but the coldest has finally shifted East.

Northeast. Check out Virginia. Snowpack & HP doing its thing.

Zoomed out.

Surface Map. High Pressure in control.

My low was 6.2°F at 7:41am. Already at 15F at 10am. LMAO. Rain tomorrow night. But a little snow and sleet first tomorrow afternoon.

Last time Bridgeport was under 10F was Feb 15, 2016

Here were the lows this morning. Sub zero just 25 minutes north of me in Danbury.

Here were the departures at 7am. Richmond was 33 below normal!

Woah, NYC was pretty much the warmest spot in the Northeast last night, warmer even than most of Virginia and North Caorlina

Single digits for Raleigh this morning. Zone 7 confirmed.

It stayed much warmer down here. Low of 28 F.

Nice to see parts of south Florida dropping into the 40s again.

St. Augustine's 7 AM temp this morning was warmer than their high yesterday. Looks like NE Florida all got the offshore winds this morning.

Lmao, so briefly we dipped. Still zone 8, this is the 6th winter under zone 8 past 27 year. In fact 2000-2017 average min temp with the 9 included is 13.... shouldn't have done much damage, my problem was I wanted positive trends to continue. Got down to 11 in my neck of woods, not often does RDU get colder.

Um wow, 4 degrees in Islip this morning, Shirley hit -4F, and Westhampton hit -9F. ^Zonebuster indeed!

That ties the all-time record for Shirley! But POR is only 2000. My hometown is close to Shirley, so it undoubtedly went below 0 this morning. It's so surprising, before 2014 zero degrees used to be a once-in-a-blue-moon thing, now it's happening practically every year!

Did the 7-hour drive back down to Minneapolis yesterday. Was -10F when I started in Intl falls, and +16F when I arrived down here. Man that was a warm 16F!
