No Global warming cause in Iowa this year. Warmest February was in 1954 and that was before the climate was changing. Wonder why it was so hot in 1954.

Meanwhile here in Indianapolis, we are looking at the warmest February on record, breaking the previous record warm February temperature by at least .5 degrees Fahrenheit, although some estimates show that February 2017 may beat the previous record warm February set back in 1882 by over 1 degree Fahrenheit

Agreed. Not only did this winter in Indianapolis manage two nights with a low of 0F or colder, but it appears this winter will also be in the top 10 warmest winters on record as well, all the while only accumulating less than 9 inches of snowfall for the entire season

Cherry pick the data when the overall trend is extremely warm across the board, and record warmest winter in many locations?

Feb 1954 was the warmest on record by this month may come very close

on the other hand February 2015 was tied with 1875 as the coldest on record here

It has been an extremely mild month for us too.

Surging warmth and humidity threaten to fuel powerful thunderstorms and a possible severe weather outbreak later Tuesday; cold air switches rain to snow Wednesday | WGN-TV

Might be an interesting last day of meteorological winter here

These storms do look very nasty for Feb 28th standards. More like April/May

Chi/ORD's forecast

NO! That can't be I told you. CO2 wasn't as high as it is now and the climate wasn't changing back then. lol Why was 1954 so warm! There weren't even that many planes, structures, population and blacktop pavements around as there is now. lol Impossible there was a year in the past that was so warm as that. Its only happening now. If I was living in the 1950s I would of thought we were gonna catch fire or drown. (wow, I'm in a sarcastic mood this morning. lol)

In Wisconsin.. Goodbye road. Cool video of ice from the Lake being shoved inland. I remember an impressive video from Michigan I believe yrs ago where Ice from the Lake was damaging condos
