Guess it sorta does sound that way since I neglected to elaborate on why I love Mexicans. It isn't though.
For me, it's hard to explain. I like both the Amerindian and European influences of Mexicans. Genetically, of course they run the gamut from full Native to full Euro. But they're aesthetically pleasing, generally, wherever they fall. Good phenotypes. Beyond just genes, same goes for culture. I like Mexican cuisine too, but definitely some dishes more than others. Mexican music is good. They seem like proud people too.
Spanish language is awesome. Etc. Lots of shared cultural aspects pertaining to the west.. e.g.rodeo, cowboys, etc.
Ppl from western Europe likely think of Eastern Europeans much like some Americans view Mexicans. I could never look down on them like that.

I don't see this being widespread, with the exception of maybe England. Very few have anything against Eastern Europeans.
