Despite the lack of any real heat (the highest temp in Observatory Hill so far is 24.6C), it's actually been an average month, with above average lows. There have only been two days that didn't reach 20C. Rainfall close to average too. It looks like it'll finish around that mark too, with no change in sight to these mild, if uninteresting, days.

21.3C/13.2C, 64.2mm

whereas the average is

21.2C/12.0C, 69.2mm

Been a shocking Septictember here. Rainfall more than twice the average, MTD high is running a whole 3C below the average, and a grand total of FOUR (4) days actually exceeded the average.

Now there is a big low pressure system and highs as cold as 15C with strong winds and rain due mid-week.

Perth Forecast

THIS IS NOT SPRING!!!

May be the coldest September in a very long time. The last 4 days are cloudy, windy and wet, I wouldn't mind it in June-August but October, really? Usually it's for 1-2 days but not 4.

This whole month is a disgrace here aswell. Only FOUR days actually reached the average. MTD high is an entire 3C below! Forecast has days as cold as 15C this week. Yeah there is a 28C day aswell (which is no big deal at this time of year), then promptly back down to a mere 18C to ring Cocktober in. WTF

Looks like below average temps continue in Valparaiso, at least until Friday. Spring has stalled a bit here, I think August was warmer
