Moose in CT.

Cool video of it. Glad they just pushed it back into the woods.

Yep it was, but it was filmed mostly on the North side of Sheffield which isn't as nice as the areas I was walking in to say the least.

Yeah some fields were full of sheep, not sure why there's trees only on one side but that road is actually the border of the Peak District (A national Park) which starts on the left, which may have something to do with it.

Walked most of the Sheffield Round Walk this weekend (Wasn't enough light to do it all in one go), which follows woodland out to the edge of the Peak District and through Southern Sheffield in a 14 mile loop. Not sure if the foliage is peak here, but it's definitely behind on last year either way.

Was around 6C / 43F.
Quite idyllic mid-late autumn pictures. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I was thinking specifically about the scene where they're going to exercise on the hills and then meet the guy who tries to commit suicide in his car. I thought that was overall a pretty nice area. Hills around cities are always great.

4th frost of the season. 12th time in last 4 weeks I dipped to 30s. Gotta have that scraper handy this time of yr.

Scrape Scrape Scrape. Thin, not thick at all so wasn't as fun.

Mmmm.

I forgot to post this in the Fall thread too. Sorry.. Yeah, it was interesting. For sure the coldest evening but not coldest temps, close though..

We didn't drop much after that because mid level temps were warming up with a mini ridge building in... We will get coldest temp this weekend though.

After two continuous days of snowfall, it's starting to look like winter wonderland.

^^^ While I prefer November to be on the cold this, this is a bit too early. Still, if it's what I have to go through to have a real winter, I'd take it.

Sunny and a 9.6°C (49°F) hourly high today. Nice November day.

Wtf, this isn't what mid-November should look like at 49°N.

This is more like it:
