I'm guessing this picture of Sylt is pretty misleading?

Least favorite in my country: Cfa (Humid subtropical AKA the South)

Least favorite outside my country: Err, I mean the US has most climates EXCEPT Dwa, Dwc, Dwd, Dfd. Since all of these are in incredibly cold climates in Northeastern China and Siberia, they probably all suck.

Darwin during the "dry" and Perth during its summers.

The Middle East, central Africa and the west coast of south America (Chile) have absolutely awful climates - very little rain and too much sun - yuk!

Least favorite in the U.S.: Denali. No data is available for it, but given the climate in nearby Alaskan lowlands plus the elevation over 20k feet, it would certainly be horrid.

Least favorite in the world: Vostok Station. No doubts. I think everyone can agree on that.

Worst climate in the world is the summit of K2 due to very low oxygen levels. It is colder and more dangerous than Mount Everest.

My country of citizenship is China, and the summit of K2 is on the borderline with Pakistan, unless if you consider all the land around there to be part of India.

So my least favorite climate within my country is the same as my least favorite climate outside of my country.

K2 is one of the most dangerous mountains in the world. 1 person dies while climbing K2 for every 4 people who reach the summit, and K2 has never been climbed during winter. Annapurna is arguably even more dangerous.
