Beijing. It’s right near an east coast, and it gets only 20 inches (500mm) of precipitation a year!! This gives it a climate similar to western Kansas. US East Coast cities at the same latitude easily get twice or even three times as much precipitation. Pathetic.

All that rain occurs in summer though, and it's summers are very humid! Beijing has a mean dewpoint of 70°F in July with an average low of 72°F and mean dewpoint of 69°F in August with an average low of 70°F.

Goodland, Kansas on the other hand, has an average low of 62°F in July and 60°F in August with a mean dewpoint of 58°F both months

It has one of the mildest winters in the UK. Milder than a lot of places on the South coast of England. Being an island and being off the Western coast of Scotland obviously exposes it even more than most of the UK to the moderating effect of the ocean and the warming effect of the Gulf stream.
