Very hot right now in Sydney (yet again ):

But hey, at least it's dry. Humidity is around 18%.

It's fantastic! Never thought we'd have a month like this, average temp in Obs Hill will probably be 29.5C, equal first, and only the fourth time any month will have an average high 29+. Also will be the warmest month in min temps with ~21.5C.

Let's hope our winters are warm though. If we had to be bombarded with hotter averages, then give us Brisbane-esque winters. That, I will applaud for.

20C average in June (or even July) would be really epic. One can only hope that this could actually happen.

It's 31C right now at 2AM!

Can somebody remind me that I'm living in Sydney and not in Darwin?

Reminds me of whenever when a shot of cold air is predicted here.

Original forecast 9 C, revised to 12 C, revised again to 15 C and it "drops" to 19 C.

41C forecast here yesterday, but fell short at 39.5C.

I was happy it didn't get any hotter, it was a hard enough day at work as it was - I was zombied by the end of the day.

The city reached 39.4C before the southerly moved in. Hottest day of the month and was enough to make it the hottest month of all time.
