Insane POLAR OUTBREAK yesterday. Gale force winds, showers, freezing as hell. High didn't even reach 18C and was below 15C for most of the afternoon. Yet, the day before was 34C

Low was a cold 8.7C at the airport and 10.2C here, cold and windy 16C at 10:30am

Looked like some decent thunderstorms in Melbourne yesterday, going by the radar.

The real heavy band of rain that was so persistent last night was legitimately 5km west of where I am. Typical

Still got a ton of rain though. 46mm on my PWS, 36mm at the airport. The real thunderstorms were on Saturday. If there was any thunder I couldn't hear it because I was blasting music lol

Quite a decent thunderstorm on Saturday night here in Shepparton, although I was too tired to go outside. A thunderstorm nearby early on Sunday morning as well - when I was up my ladder, I could see the sky to the west, glowing every few seconds.

A big rain event forecast back in New Zealand, with a cyclone remnant set to deliver some big totals (400mm in 12 hours) and some serious wind. Heavy rain in the Bay of Plenty region last week, with 24 hour totals around the 250mm mark, causing some flooding in areas.

I just checked, and had to triple check. According to the BOM, 22.1C at 7am today. What in the ****? That has to be a record.

Here is Darwin's half-hourly obs. What the F**k. It was 18C in Darwin in the afternoon. Honestly, this must be some parallel universe. WTF. Didn't even realise this paranormal event was occuring until your post JetsNHL.
