I highly doubt it. Frosts are almost impossible in this time of the year. Here in Esquel forecast says we'll get rain in Thursday and it will continue raining until Sunday, and that is going to drop the temperature quite a bit, but lows will still be over 5°C.

Gfs meteogram show 3.7C for Esquel during the morning of day 17.

But by southern Patagonia I mean places below 50S(Magalhanes,southern Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego provinces).

This cold air mass will mostly affect Tierra del Fuego, forecast temperatures for Ushuaia next week :

But we are a bit far,so it can change and be weaker or stronger,I will keep looking.

Great areas of positive precipitation anomaly over the continent, looks northern Brazil will be flooded.
Some dry steppe areas of southern Patagonia may get between 50mm-100mm ,who is much above average, for some notion, many places there get between 100-200 for the whole year.
If the global warming keep on,the precipitation there will increase, and steppe areas today may have trees in the future.

Wow Macapa is going to get pounded with rain. Vegetation looks rather dry on Google Street Views so it can definitely use some

After over a month of no rain we finally got some. Not a lot, about 30 minutes. Didn't even form any puddles.

Also, it's pretty much impossible in the summer to get rain in Esquel without highs falling below 20°C.

That's why we get so few thunderstorms.

Heatwave just arrived in my city (Curitiba). Last week max temperatures were around 25-27 C.. Today we had 35C. Its pretty distressing given the fact that Curitiba temperatures aren't usually that high and during winter it has some of the lowest temperatures in the country.

Lowests between state capitals right?

Coldests temperatures usually are registered on higher elevations of Santa Catarina.
