Assuming there is no precipitation, what is the lowest temperature that you consider "warm enough" to eat outside?

Would 15C (59F) be too cold, for example?

As long as you don't need a jacket or a sweater. 15 with sun and/or no wind works, but it's on the chilly end

Anything above 5c is alright for eating outside as long as it doesn't rain and the wind is not too strong.

I assume, you would like to eat ice cream or drink iced tea
At that temperature your warm food will get cold even before you dig your fork into it...

10C if it's windless and clear is quite enough.

I mean, people flock out to the patios on the first sunny 8C day in spring...

If it's just a sunny 3'C in March here and there is snow on the ground with no wind, I could definitely eat outside with only a t-shirt. Especially close to a south side wall. Mmmmm, the heat in spring.

I ate on a balcony in Switzerland while it was -5.
Was gloriously sunny and calm though...

Depends.... it can feel cold at 15c if it's damp and overcast or too windy.

it can feel warm and nice at 5c in the mountain with bright sunshine and snow reflecting the sun.
