Day # 15 in a row with snow cover. (Yes, I'm using my neighbor now, lol)

So weird, but so interesting. It's not like we have mountains nearby or they sit in a valley and retain cold.

1hour of sun this morning 8:30am-9:30pm. Gone since I took this.

50°F today going to 60°F I think.

In my backyard.. I bought the wrong house? lol

Parking lot and street piles still around.

Why is it that just as the snow is finally starting to melt away, there just has to be a backlash with over 30 cm of new snow? Same thing that happened last year. Snow almost melted in February, but then like 40cm of snow fell, and so the spring was postponed until April.

For some reason this creek isn't completely frozen though, which is weird since our river is.

No more short cuts across open fields.

It seems the snow was blowing from the North...

Today will be the last day. 15 days in a row with snow on ground. Now all we got is piles around.

I think was impressive to see considering these were the max temps each day with the snow

9th: 9.5" of snow
12th: 2.3" of snow
15th: 45.4°
18th: 56.4°
19th: 63.1°
20th: 50.3°
21st: 47.2°
22nd: 51.4°
23rd: 60.9°
24th: 61° at 11am

Not to mention the warm lows, fog and drizzle.

Maybe faster fluid flow from the creek?

What is the first plant? The 3rd pic looks a bit like Richmond Park.

Here are some pics taken earlier today in Richmond and in Richmond Park. Fairly typical progress for late February.
