yup, danny boy-------I find it fascinating when I read the regional temps of upper mid west cities and Rapid City is 20-30 degrees warmer ( at times) than the other South Dakota cities listed.
Saturday in Denver it was sunny and 74 (76 at my house) with everyone outside, wearing shorts, having a beer on the front porch. Sunday we woke up to blizzard-like conditions with heavy, wet, blowing snow (luckly it didn't last long and we only got a couple inches) and then down into the teens Sunday night. Today it's sunny and 50! Talk about your bi-polar weather.

Denver is really bizarre like that. One day itll be 65, the next 25 and 12" of snow. Same goes for Chicago too, but on a lesser scale.

I work with a couple people in our Chicago office and I feel for them this winter. Seems like that arctic air settled and didn't want to leave. It stayed east of Denver so our weather has generally been pleasant the past month with warm days here and there.

Yeah, this has been THEE worst winter Ive ever experienced in my 30 years here. Had alot of sub-zero nights, most days were in the 30s. Had a few days in the 50s and even one in the mid-60s, but overall has been colder and ALOT snowier than average.
How much snow have you gotten so far? Do you have a huge ice issue on the roads???? Looking at places to move to, Denver is on the list, but the ice scares me a little.
