I think a reasonable job could be done travelling through the immediate Californian coastline in terms of keeping the temps at 17-18C year round. Rainfall would differ somewhat though.

Known in Spain as the eternal late Spring.

The summer is ok and not very hot but I can go 30 km away up the mountain and have a spring alike summer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Cr...Laguna#Climate
Isn't 200 mm of rainfall Arid? Some locations in East Anglia have rainfall of 500mm and they are regarded as semi-arid.

East Anglia sure ain't arid.

Mean temp in Ipswich is 10.2 C during a year. 10.2 x 20 = 204 and an evenly distributed precipitation pattern means 204 + 140 = 344 mm as isotherm for semi-arid.

So no, it's similar to here and I can safely tell it's not a semi-arid climate with all that greenery and the winter humidity etc.

Not a bad shout that actually, although Dubai in winter is still significantly warmer and sunnier.

I'd say Dubai in winter, Lyon in summer.

I thought this was a neat thread idea, and thought the kids who spend most of their time here playing would be head over heels about this one, but no.

Nobody except me has even made an effort.

I'll go something like this:

Brownsville, TX
Laredo, TX
Midland, TX
Amarillo, TX
Goodland, KS
Aspen, CO
Yellowstone Lake, WY
Silver Gate, MT
Helena, MT
Boise City, OK
San Angelo, TX
McAllen, TX

Highs in the low 70s, lows in the 40s, generally dry and sunny but relatively variable temps.

Biggest moves were September to October and April to May
