Ok South.. you first... here it comes.. Doesn't look impressive but we all know it doesn't take much to cause disruption down there.


Latest NAM loop 9am today to 5pm tomorrow. Rain changes to snow for some ice for others. All snow for the mountains.

For some folks theres going to be a small touge of warmth aloft and that ruins everything.

Snow falling from clouds will hit this layer, melt, then refreeze into ice down to surface. I hate those warm tounges!

Red line is temps. See how it jogs to the right. Thats showing above freezing for a small layer aloft

I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to have to drive in the snow in the South. People have no clue what they're doing. It is going to be interesting to watch the ensuing meltdown.

Agreed 100%. I get annoyed with people up north that just aren't good at driving in the snow, but I can't imagine driving with those that rarely or never see it.
