7C now. You know it's been a rough month when you're actually excited about 7C. Normally I'd be excited about 7C in January, not the end of March

Possibly but I hope not.

I don't want a hot summer. I want an avg summer with more tstorms and humidity than last summer.

Don't let JB off so easy. NOAA had a better forecast than he did. I started following twitter meteo's this winter. JB is an outlier and people in December were calling his forecast out as stupid. But everyone of them said he is blinded by his bias and just goes with his standby cold forecast every winter. How much you wanna bet his winter forecast for next year is again colder than average in the East?

Same for that Judah Cohen guy. He should be ignored and his stupid Siberian snow crap. It didn't do a thing to our winter this year which he called to be colder than avg in the East due to high October snow in Siberia. Wrong again. And not the first time. Read up on the guy and he is a huge snow and cold lover. These guys need to reign in their personal bias. They "wishcast" more than forecast.

And no they don't get to use March to make up for their rotten way off the mark winter forecast. They blew it totally. You need to start following more unbiased meteo's on twitter.

I think he pretty much figured that was a given that they are warm aloft and it wouldn't be snow falling. So the surface is "too close for comfort" for him for ice.

Latest GFS for Hartford next 14 days. 2 columns are frustrating. 4 actually. 1 of them not so bad.

  • Surface temps.. no sustained warmth but many seasonable days.
  • 850mb temps, enough with the negative numbers now.
  • 700RHU humidity, sick of clouds. 3 days now and looks like a mostly cloudy next 2 weeks.
  • Precip. A lot of moisture and precip days coming. Might as well happen now.
* Note: The precip on Friday with the 850s below freezing. Snow. Euro has 8"+ snow for Boston. lol
