Seattle has not hit 60F since November 11th. Seems shocking since in the winters of 13/14 and 14/15 it seems like they never even went below 60F lol

Ha! I didn't even realize it until now, but apparently when north Georgia got slammed by severe thunderstorms on March 21, there were two tornadoes that touched down in my area! One touched down less than 10 miles to my west, and the other touched down less than 10 miles to my north. They were both relatively weak and short-lived, but a tornado is a tornado nonetheless. The one that touched down to my west was rated EF0, and the one that touched down to my north was rated EF1.

In my immediate area, we had pea-sized hail at the height of the storm.

Isn't this winter a lot closer to normal than pretty much every other winter in the last 5 years?
