Yeah, this April is mostly above normal because of the hot days we had in the beginning of the month. We got a nice cool snap that dropped temps to 55 F and since then it's been mostly in the low 80s with dews in the 50s/low 60s and breezy. Not too bad.

Beautiful night. 68 with a 54 dew at 10 pm! I was sitting outside for awhile.

Very late temperature peak today. The high of 70 was recorded at 7 pm and it's warmer now than it was any time before 5 pm.

Today is the 3rd 70 degree day of the month. My guess is that there will be 4-6 for the month depending on how warm the last week is.

Skies should clear as we progress through the day... temps mild 69-24C across the area. Much cooler near lake most of the week

Next week however, a lot colder here (yes, Bastardi is right) and also Europe is seeing much below average temps by and large

We had a summer-like pattern yesterday with isolated to scattered convection coming out of the south. I had some brief rain after lunch, but it looked like the thunderstorms mostly stayed to my east.

So far in April, the airport has only recorded 2 precip days, but one of those days had 9.10 inches! April is actually the month with the fewest days of precip on average, although it's one of the more active months for severe storms.
