Impressively cool in the South! Only 50 degrees in Northern Mississippi. Lots of 40s in Virginia and North Carolina.
Southern Georgia and Northern Florida can't escape the heat though. As always, Waycross is one of the hot spots.
Near extreme for many as most low maxes this time of year are low 50s bar today in Raleigh. Thanks to the crappy cold ocean waters of the northeast. For many I imagine this is a welcome break from all the 80s and a nice relief before heat kicks up again ad we quickly enter summer in a month.
I love a good northeasterly wind this time of the year.
I'm fine with it because it brought us ample rains! Though very cold and it could have easily been warm and stormy instead of cold and rainy. Prefer these days in December. ULL are no fun.
