It's just the location of the station so close to the lake like Waukegan. There is also inland stations

88 F with a 69 F dew point here at the moment, lots of big clouds around. There's a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, hopefully something materializes.

For the 7th day in a tow we have busted below forecast........ as ****ing usual. Today so far only 83, forecast was for 88, no way we get that high....

Even weirder.... every wunderground station in Raleigh metro is 88-90. Has the airport sensor ****ed up?

I see you're up to 85°F now, and the last forecast for Raleigh had been revised to 86°F (now not on the website anymore, just the overnight low). So is it still a bust?

Tomorrow is forecast to be 91°F.

Yes, we were supposed to be near 90 today. I highly doubt we get near 90 tomorrow. TWC days 93, my local station 94... lol, more like 89...

Should I contact nws??? This is very odd... every station is significantly warmer than RDU

88 F with a 71 F dew point here right now, sky is getting dark. Hopefully some rain falls.



BTW, I forgot to mention that it hit 94 F (34 C) here yesterday!

Euro12z for this area next 10 days. Not too bad! I see the cold fronts but no cold chilly blasts anymore. Seasonable or very warm next week+. Little rain too. Finally!

Are we done with the max of 50s and low 60s? Done with the lows in the 30s & low 40s?

It's currently 85°F here with a 62°F dewpoint. Blue dome sky.

Tomorrow is forecast to reach 88°.
