Was just coming here to mention and show that
Sometimes its so easy to see where the ridge is because there's no clouds under it.
Remember the California drought? That ridge was parked over them for months on end.

Ridge shifting East and we still have the NW flow happening bringing us the clouds. While I don't want to be in the center of a ridge, I am truly sick of clouds! At least its in the 70s though.

Don't think we're capable of getting a parked ridge like that. Though summer last year got close.
