Drifting? Brandon is on the southern edge of the snow totals but still should be few inches of accumulations but impossible to measure in conditions like that. 15-30 centimeters just north of there (6-11"). 50-80 centimeters in Northern Manitoba (20-31") Nice storm.

2011 was the third driest year on record here, with 35.87 inches of rain.

Warm front lifting north in the Northeast, Cold front pushing East in central U.S.

Some Thunderstorm warnings embedded in that line. Heads up Kentucky. Clearing out in Chicago

I got a heavy thunderstorm around noon today. I had just over an inch of rain, but it came down pretty quickly.

Some storm reports in Mississippi, but it wasn't nearly as active as yesterday.

Friday and Saturday will definitely feel like winter here. Not much in the way of snow, but there is a chance of snow by Monday....
