A quick question in regards to the 1991-2020 climate normals? (storms, degree)

If I remembering the old numbers correctly it looks like Ithaca and Binghampton NY added like ~10 more precip days with the 2020 update. IIRC they were around ~155 days now 164/166.
According to climate data from 1991-2020, the average high/low in NYC from July 17-24 is 85F/71F, which is 1-2F warmer than 84F/69F (1981-2020).
The figures were 85/68 for most of the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's, when they dropped to 84/69F. Also, there was a statistical bulge to 78 as a mean, that was eliminated with the 2010 calculation of "normal." I don't remember if this was 85/70 or 86/70.

It couldn't be 86/70. The average high never reached 86F which is 30C mark in Central Park.
In north Alabama (which, of course, varies quite a bit over a small distance like anywhere else), Huntsville went up 1.2 degrees for the January average (41.5 to 42.7). From the 1961-1990 average of 38.5 that's a huge difference.
Summer wasn't quite as bad, with July average going from 80.6 to 81.3, but it was in the upper 70s in the 1960s.
Having lived in the Huntsville area for over 50 years, the differences are very noticeable. It's like we were moved south over 100 miles.
I am not in Tampa anymore dorthy. When i moved to the gulf in 04 my lows came way up. If i ever wanted to sit down and run the figs i would say my avg temps have come up 2.39f since i started keeping records in 1978. You gotta remember living within 500 ft of gulf really effects your low temps when water temps are 85f+.
Just take a look at all the record warm temps FL has had since 1940 and see how much more the records have been broken since 2011. Just Oct and Nov alone have been off the charts above normal since 2015. Steep ramp up my man. Something is wrong.

Even Miami only warmed 0.7°F between 81-10 and 91-10, from 76.9°F to 77.6°F
