Well, I think it's no secret what I would give Miami. An easy F. :P

There's way too many adjustments needed to be made to this climate to even make it a C climate.

Right now it's a C. Around 10 years ago Esquel had colder, snowier winters and warmer, more stable summers. Back then it was a B.

Low B for me.

It's a pretty good climate, but it has some flaws

Summers are usually great, although I would not mind if they were a tad cooler, I don't want a third 22c low average in a row for July.

springs are magnificient, lots of nice warm days with cool nights, and a long pleasant period from mid march to early june, when summer kicks in.

Winters are lackluster, they manage to be cold enough to be annoying without succeeding in being interesting, too many damp cold dull days without any snow. Autumns are like whatever, we go directly from the muggy to the clammy to the damp. Crisp sunny days are few and far between.

If the average for Nov-Feb was 3c colder, with more snow and more sun, with larger diurnal range, and if overall we had more variation it would be a great climate. We did not have any precipitation whatsoever for the whole month of january, then we had 3 days full of non-stop rain earlier this month. I'd rather we had a day or two or rain every week, but we do not have the variability of more oceanic climates.

And it is too humid despite the fact it does not even rain that much.

I give Phoenix a B. Only summer is the downer (monsoon and July and August are too hot). I give Pomona, CA where I'm moving in a couple years an A

Absolutely almost perfect! Just north of San Diego, California; far enough inland to be out of the foggy cool mornings, not so far east as to be in the desert. Slight breeze makes the hotter days tolerable; almost never below freezing, not often over 100 degrees F. I swim in a heated outdoor pool every day of the year, a dream I've had since I sat in a boring 4th grade classroom in upstate NY, looking out at the goddam unrelenting snow and grey clouds. Here I've got the most gorgeous blue skies all day, rarely a cloud, and spectacular sunsets.

C. It's usually too wet and raw in all seasons, but nice days are spectacular.

And, it could be much worse. As in, too hot and dry. That's the worst, IMO.

Howling snowstorm outside. Currently I say an F-.

Normally would say a D.

C. It's too wet but it could be much worse and most winter precipitation is snow not cold rain. It's too cloudy in winter, but summer is nice and sunny and it's not a huge issue. It's too cold year round, but not bad at all. Summer is too humid, but it doesn't get hot enough for the humidity to be a real issue often. It's too stable but there's still a good amount of variety. It's too snowy, but better than too little snow. The vegetation is abysmal.

So a very average climate. Not great but not bad either. Lots of issues, but none of them are too bad.

C - It's just average, so it gets an average score.

I'd like it to perhaps be a bit warmer in the summer, but too much cloud is the real issue. It's lovely on a clear summer's day, especially given how long the days are.

Winters are mild, if sometimes a bit rough. I wouldn't actually mind them being a bit colder, so that snow and frost would become a bit more frequent.
