P.S. The actual northernmost city in America is Barrow, Alaska. But I know that very few people would choose it as it's a polar climate. So I decided to stick with the contiguous states. Furthermore, Lynden (also in Washington) is slightly more northernmost than Bellingham, but it's just a small town and its climate box isn't very "full".

Wouldn't International Falls, MN been better for this comparison?

Bellingham is at 48°45'N.
International Falls is at 48°35'N.
Didn't Ethereal want to compare the furthest north city in the CONUS and the furthest south city in the CONUS? Since International Falls isn't the furthest north it can't be compared.....
Anyway I pick Key West. Even though Bellingham has colder winters its summers are way too weak. Plus Key West has thunderstorms which are exciting.

But Bellingham is marine moderated, where I Falls isn't. Maybe Lake of the Woods, MN, which is the real farthest north, would be better

But the only city (Baudette 48°42'N) in that county with a weather box is still farther south than Bellingham. The ONLY thing that matters with this comparison is the LATITUDE.....
Blaine, Washington is actually the farthest north at 48° 59', but I'll take either one over Key West. 90 degrees and 70% humidity all summer? No thanks. And Florida's got bugs about the same size as a Buick.
Key West... despite that when I've been there it was the most oppressive heat ever... worse than Miami & Thailand but maybe I just went on a bad day lol
