When I opened this thread, Met Office was using records from 1950 to 2015. Later, Met Office started using all time records, so records have changed.

All times records are from 1928 to 2016.

Record Snow Thickness: 90 cm (35.4 inches)
Record Low: -18℃ (-0.4℉), recorded in February 1929
Record High: 44.1℃ (111.4℉), recorded in July 2000.

Record high is the same but other records have changed.

When Met used records from 1950 to 2015, record low was -9.7℃. When Met Office started using records from 1928 to 2026, record low became -18℃.

D

Winters are too mild with a little snow.

Summers are too hot.

Precipitation and sunshine hours are good.

B-
Winter and fall are too warm, but the rest of the year is good. Summer is a little dry for me, but not bad considering the location.

Summer is also very humid. Heat Index is higher than air temperature most of the time

B- I guess, maybe C+ at worst:

Winters are pretty nice for the latitude, at least in terms of temperature (the lack of sun and amount of rain is far from ideal). Granted, not compared to Western Europe at the same latitude, but still better than most at that latitude. The summers seem nice, it's good that they're drier than the winters. Seems to be a cross between humid subtropical and Mediterranean. I wonder what the humidity is like, hopefully not too bad in the summer.

C

It is a bit on the mild side and winters are pretty lightweight.

On the other hand, there is a change of seasons, even precipitation throughout the year, and it's one of the cloudier areas in Turkey so has some good features.

C for me - May to October is nice, but the rest of the year is pretty dreary, with low sun and high rain days.

Heat Index is higher than air temperature most of the time in Summer ( when the temp is above 25℃).
