New Bridge / Old Bridge

Lower Manhattan (southwest)

Midtown Manhattan (west)

Long Island City (northwest)

I've always liked this style

In Downtown Brooklyn

Manhattan Bridge

The bridge carries subway lines

Nice arch

Chinatown / Canal Street

This looks so out of place lol

Southern Magnolia + residual snowfall (north facing)

I like city blocks like this, more residual snowfall

Jenga Headquarters + World Trade Center

Willamsburg Bridge

Wow, Green! Looks like mid May. This time of year I'm reminded that we only have 5 months of Green leaves here.

If I remember correctly we are usually pretty similar maybe me ahead a few days? Feels about normal now. Nothing too crazy. Don't forget about Bloomsky to check other areas. Red, Green, Orange buds opening here, no leaves yet.

Gorgeous. Had a lovely Italian meal down that end of Manhattan last June.

A genuine spring day in Edmonton, temperature up to 13°C under fair skies. Went for basically the same walk as a couple of days ago and got some then-and-now photos.

Then, April 18, 2017, 4 pm.

Now, April 20, 2017, 4 pm.

Then, April 18, 2017, 4 pm.

Now, April 20, 2017, 4 pm. For bonus points, can you see the left over snow?

There it is.
Spoiler

Grass is starting to get green and bulbs are starting to push up.

Daffodils? Tulips? Crocuses? We'll soon know. The leafy bad boys are Bergenia, a perennial popular only because it emerges from the snow already leafy. It's an ugly mess if you ask me.
