It's a recently installed AWS that still has not been fully incorporated into the official network, their daily extremes aren't published, and it doesn't seem to be the coldest station around.

Maquinchao would have been a more natural choice; it recorded -10.8ºC on May 27.
I've made some mistake choosing some places

--------------------------------------------------------------------

My city received 140mm/5.5 inches of rain since yesterday morning, the month accumulation total now is 441.6mm/17.3 inches, which is 43% above May average of 303mm, the rainiest since July 2013.

Yeah, May usually isn't this cold, nor this foggy. We've had fog the past three days and also today. It seems like it always starts a few hours before sunset.

Not that I'm aware of.

This is the additional reason of why tropics Chaco climate is a mess. Not only they have hot days most of the year, but also these nasty cool downs when an occasional cold entry get up there. The locals must hate that, but i think Ghost would love to have those swings reaching his protected coastal Joao Pessoa

I would love to have some great temperature difference trough the year, but all I have is a dry and wet periods.
Looking at Ogimet, this place in Bolivia can have highs below 10C during strong cold shots

----------------------------------------------------

Talking a little about here, the weather here is overcast with 24.2C and 94% of humidity, which is making it feel the coldest day of the year.
Not raining now but radar are showing some rain advancing from the ocean, after all we should end accumulating up to 500mm this May.

Min of 6.5ºC today in BA, avoiding in extremis a record of highest Autumn min (wich remains 7ºC on 1998). Still, if it doesn't go lower tommorrow it will end as the 2nd highest on record. Certainly, this autumn closes as a very poor one.

Yesss, finally some weather from Northeast Brazil!

What is Bahia like? It is farther south so I assume it is more prone to occasional cold blasts
