Gdansk for being the driest and coldest in winter.

Vancouver by a mile. Gdansk is too cold in the winter, and Cork is just awful.

I don't really know much about Irish climates, as there doesn't seem to be any Irish people on the weather forums. I'm guessing there's not really much to know. From what I've seen they're all low-grade oceanic climates. Mild winters, lots of rain, and almost all of them have highs below 20 in the summer. Dublin seems to be the best, but that's not saying much.

How do Irish climates compare to British mainland climates? It seems to me that it has a climate similar to the northern half of Britain.

They are much wetter than UK climates and usually much cloudier, with slightly milder winters and much cooler summers.

London surpasses Dublin's record high multiple times almost every summer.

People always respond before I can get my edits in

Am I right in thinking that they're similar to climates in the northern half of the British mainland, as well as some western areas?

They are wetter and probably cloudier than northern England, with milder winters and slightly cooler summers.

What is Dublin's record high? I can't seem to find it.

At the airport it's 28.7c (which we will see on about 10+ days per summer), and in the UHI it's 30.6c (which we see 4-5 days per summer).

The highest temperature ever recorded anywhere in Ireland is 33.3c, which we would see every couple of years.

Wow, that is weak. I think even up on the same latitude as Dublin we probably reach close to that on an annual basis, quite often even higher. That's half a degree higher than our October record xD

Your climate choices make Vancouver look subtropical. Lol.
I picked these two other oceanic climates because I have traced my ancestors back to these areas and I was wondering how people think about those climates compared to the one I live in now.
