A downpour with gusty winds and thunder just started about 15 minutes ago. 0.09" has fallen so far and the temp fell from 80 to 72. An earlier train storm deposited 0.19", but that only lasted 10 minutes or so. Luckily, frisbee playoffs weren't interrupted

The max was 90 at around 2 PM, with a max heat index of 94. The low of 75 from this morning didn't hold, but I'm hoping it will still stay above 70 and be the first 70+ low of the year.

It is nasty out there today. Currently 85 F/29 C with a dewpoint of 71 F/22 C (humidity 63%). Dewpoint was up to 73 F/23 C last hour. I guess the sun is drying things out slightly, but now it's hotter.

Flash Flood Watch in effect for tomorrow afternoon and evening. I hope we get some heavy storms to make up for this high humidity .

Meanwhile, in a moment of Sunny reflection...Here, in Aurora, ME, 71F Degrees with a Dew Point of 65F Degrees...Winds, WNW 10 MPH....

Gathered a Wild Flower bouquet while strolling along the Birch Meadows, this afternoon....Daisy, Yarrow, Buttercup and Yellow Day Lillies., brightened up our kitchen table...
Collected memories from childhood were refreshed today...
The cheery kitchen (painted a Buttercup yellow, greeted us every morning and the french door (which led out to our covered, back porch), lit our kitchen during the Autumn and Winter when the sun would slide off into the Southwest...
Daisies, gathered and woven into garlands that crowned our heads and necklaces that caressed our necks...
He loves me...He loves me...He loves me...
Not..... He loves me not!
White Yarrow comforted and protected us from the world beyond our home....
Memories of affirmation and love bespeaks the Wild Flower Bouquet.....

Looks like the max today will be 112 F for Phoenix, which is actually 2 degrees lower than forecast. I'm starting to doubt the 120 F forecast threats for Tuesday. 116 F/117 F is more likely. What are the daily records at?

Holy Hell! 120/90? I don't EVER wanna hear anyone try to pull that dry heat crap lol. A low of 90? Dry or humid, it doesn't matter, I'd rather have a humid day with a low in the 70s even 80s than that.

1.25" here and counting. Temps dropped to the mid 60s. Two severe thunderstorm warnings, but only a brief gust to 25mph.
