Eh Sierras should reach 60°F at 10,000 feet. That's free air temperatures. Daily max where the sun hits land will be hotter. Gem Lake at 9000 feet has a June monthly max of 65°F in June, 73°F in July. But Toulumne Meadows (8600 feet) was reporting mid 70s as a high which I think is normal for them. Good example of surface vs free air?
In Vancouver it was about 26 Celsius in the afternoon, but it felt a bit too humid. The humidity now is a whopping 89%
Unless you're located right next to the airport on the water it was much warmer than 26C this afternoon. All the stations on weatherundergroud 10-20km inland were reporting temps well over 30C. A few spots in the eastern suburbs were around 36C(97F).
