Lol, i know that but you know what i mean... this is highly unusual. Greensboro now has the second longest wait for 90 degree day ever. Not typical, definetely been a lack of heat as evidenced by less than normal CDD.
Sure, but it is an average so some years will have more while others less. This may just end up being a year with fewer 90 degree days. But to call this summer devoid of heat and very cool is just silly.

Very cool is silly i admit as it implies well below average temps. However, you cant deny it has been rather devoid of heat. Im sorry but mid 80s is not heat let alone average at this point. I think you have me confused also, when i say devoid of heat i am reffering to the lack of 90 degree days. If you averaged around 40 90 degree days like Greensboro and didnt see a single one till mid july would you not say the summer has lacked some heat to it so far?
Averages are made up of ups and downs, this is a down year.
What normal person cares if it is 86 or 90? It's still hot. The difference is 2 degrees Celsius.
No body... point is summer has lacked heat. I promise you any one in the south right now would tell you that... when i speak of heat i speak of heat relative to averages. People here equate summer heat to 90 plus...
Another warm and humid night here in Fort Worth Texas, may also be talking the potential for rain and thunderstorms later on tonight, early tomorrow morning if the thunderstorm complex currently in Oklahoma manages to hold together and doesn't fizzle out by the time it gets here.
