Got a thunderstorm just before midnight, dropped the temp down to 27.8°C, which ended up being an evening low yesterday, and is this mornings low so far. Dropped 0.76mm of rain, our first measurable rain in two months. But made it HUMID. The dewpoint ended up hitting 21.1°C in the thick of it
Forecast high today is 42.2°C, 0.5°C above average.
Currently 28.9°C with a dewpoint of 17.8°C at 4am Pacific Time
So I have to use the station in Pompano Beach for my OBS
88 F with a 75 F dew point as of 10 AM today.
Don't you have a thermometer at your house?
I have one because our NWS station is in a huge valley and the temperature is regularly 2 to 5° lower on the hills and mountains (and I live on a very large hill). I know it's not official but its usually a consistent temperature below NWS.

I do, but my house doesn't really have a place that's in the shade the whole day (house faces northeast) so I can't find a place to put it. So I rely on NWS stations for my observations. I don't want to make a comment on here that it's 130 F outside or some ****.
I live more inland than all the stations in Broward County, so I have the sneaking suspicion that daytime highs are likely slightly higher than the NWS stations here.

Haha I see. 2 sides of my apartment are in the shade, so I have my primary and a secondary cheap one to double check it
In summer it doesn't matter much, but in winter it's nice to know the temperature.
Lexington hasn't had a dewpoint above 72 yet this year.
