It appears that there is no immediate end in sight to this stagnant weather pattern in Fort Worth Texas and across much of the South Central United States for that matter, the surprisingly consistent hazy hot and humid weather here has gone on largely unabated for the last two weeks, and the extended outlooks are suggesting that this same weather pattern could persist for another two weeks, great weather for going to the pool, but physically draining whenever I have gone walking around as an alternative mode of transportation(although begrudgingly by my own doing and not because I actually had to)

Not at all surprised that the GFS Model is hinting at downright Brutal heat in the nations midsection, 110 F + Temperatures in East Central Nebraska, I take it that the hottest areas are also the same areas which also have anomalously low soil moisture levels and/or major short term precipitation deficits
Pretty much spot on average today. Looks like the high topped out at 83 F/28 C, low was 59 F/15 C, and the dewpoint is currently 63 F/17 C. As long as it isn't above average I'll tolerate it, but the sun certainly makes it more uncomfortable and the overnight lows aren't satisfyingly cool enough. Summers 10 degrees cooler would be nice.
Not as much storm coverage today as I was expecting. Then a t-storm maybe ten miles to the northwest sent a cooling breeze this way and the instability went away.
Back on Friday, NWS was calling for 70% Sat & Sun. All I ended up with was 0.04" yesterday.
