I don't feel much of a difference between August and September in İzmit. September is quite a summer in İzmit. I would swim if the sea wasn't too damn dirty.
We get the all the ****ing humidity from the Sea but we can't swim in it because it is ****ing dirty
İzmit has 2 different Seas actually. One is Marmara Sea, which is just near the city center but it is dirty so you cannot swim. The other Sea is Black Sea but it is a little far. It is 46 kilometres away.
September is literally only 1 C cooler than August here, not a difference at all. Also the second wettest month of the year. It's a rather interesting month weather-wise but I wish it were much cooler.
