Harvey's projected track has moved further east. The NWS forecast now shows tropical storm conditions possible Wednesday.

The forecast looks very ****ty. Seems like a late-September forecast, not late-August! Can't remember the last time we had a cool August, recent Augusts have been torchfests here

The story of my life. It happens time and time again. It's normal climo for us to be drier than points west, but virtually every single storm this summer, except maybe one or two, has died out on our doorstep while New Jersey gets slammed. Wetter than normal summer there, drier than normal here.

I hate the location of my new house more often than not we're the one dry spot in the metro area it seems. FLL has recorded 1.12" of rain today and not a single drop here not the first time this happens. The order day it absolutely poured at my dad's house (which is literally like two miles east of my house) and it didn't rain a single drop here. Annoying as ****. Scattered/pop-up thunderstorms can be so goddamn annoying. Wish the whole metro area could be covered for once.

My old place seemed to always be in the meat of the rainfall. I could just be seeing this from a frustrated person's point of view though.
The water temp here actually got down to 82F yesterday morning after being at 91F two weeks ago. Jumped back up to 85F after the sun today.

I think the average water temp in Normber is 75F, average high air temp is 79F.

It's currently 86F with a 72F dewpoint after a high of 88F.

That sounds like here during Summer 2015. Record dry here while places like Ft. Myers were getting hammered with thunderstorms nearly every single ****ing day. Gotta love the stupid ocean making the atmosphere more stable.

Must have been the rainy weekend, that seems to always happen after rain. It will probably shoot back up to near 90 F in no time.

November has an average water temp of 76 F, the average is 73 F in December.

Yep, coolest is 71F in January.

I've gotten enough rain the past couple days to not be frustrated today.

I'm surprised the coldest isn't in February. I'm guessing the rapidly increasing low latitude sun plays a role there.

Imagine living in a ****hole like Aruba where the lows are like 81F, 80%+ relative humidity, and yet no rain to speak of
