I think LGA might have missed it

Unreal that within 40 miles the temp can be 64 degrees on the lakeshore and 100 degrees inland where I live.

Something triggered me today.

I don't have A.C. in my apartment OR car. Sucks. A lot of apartments here aren't equipped with A.C. but the unit on my car going has picked a great week to do so.

Sucks. Bad timing. Wet towels.

This site is good with the max temps even the in between stuff gets plotted on the hours.

99 at Newark. 98 at LGA.

6 days in a row with 0 precip. Last time with a streak like this was August 2016. I see something heading Southeast towards me.

A lot of convective stuff out there. Torrential downpours in some areas. Lightning, wind damage, thunder, ect.

Funny as most of our hottest max temps you will usually find in the subrubs of Chicago, while in the NYC area it is usually LGA or Newark which is basically in the center of the UHI

In CT BDL is the hot spot. I don't think they hit 100°F/37°C though.
