Shouldn't we make a table with the temperature range posters have experienced too?

Wasn't there a more recent thread about that particular topic too?

Do mean on this thread? Or on the older threads that you've listed? You're the mod, so it's up to you.

Personally, I think the latter would make more sense.

I'm positive that there was a more recent thread that could be bumped up, but can't find it.

My former location "Terra Feminarum" would've looked better on the chart than the current one.

about the same as other northern US posters. Amherst, US. Record max 104°F/40°F. Record min -30°F/-34°C. So a range of 74°C

If it's the region, i'll take AEMET station of Alicante airport, -2.6ºC / 41.4ºC, this is the 1971-2016 data. But if we take older data, Alicante airport reached it's all time historical low in 1970, being of -3.8ºC.

For Spain as a whole is Teruel, the place of the extremes. It recorded quite lower temperatures at 920m of altitude (3.010ft) than cities higher than 1.100m of altitude, so it's crazy.

In Teruel the lowest recorded is -19.0ºC (-2,2F), meanwhile the maximum recorded is 40.2ºC (104,4F) so here we have a difference of 59.2ºC ! (138,6F)
You get a bigger difference if you use Alicante City station, record low is -4.6C & record high is also 41.4C, a difference of 46C. Alicante Airport only has records going back to 1967...

The current weather station in Teruel has only been operating since 1986, the previous station has recorded as low as -22C in 1945...

The coldest temperature recorded in the whole of Spain is -32C at Lake Estangento, Lleida in 1956, the record high is 27C, still the difference is almost as much with 59C (both figures have been rounded up/down so it may be that it could be greater than 59.2C)...

Calamocha has a record low of -20C & high of 39C so again a difference of 59C, this station only opened in 1992 though. Calamocha Aerodrome is the winner though, with a record low of -30.0C in 1963 & a record high of 40.0C in 1980 & a difference of 70C!

I've updated the results. Bettafish's entry was deemed invalid; Glacierx's mum is now winning.

My range is so lame, that I feel embarrassed posting it. But anyways:

Record high: 100 F

Record low: 27 F

A range of 73 F, or 40.6 C.

Just saw that AJ just posted the same stats, oh well.
