I found this website called: thetruesize.com where you can manipulate different countries and states around the world to show how they compare with other countries and areas in a country. I thought if I could move Canada anywhere in the world to have my ideal range of climates, I would move it as in the picture below:

So if you could move your country or state if you are in the US to anywhere to have your ideal range of climates, where would you move it or would you leave it exactly where it is now as you like the climates where you live.

I'd move it to where the Azores are in the Atlantic with the south at 34N and the north at 48N! The São Miguel main island can become part of Lake Vänern as a lake island or something

I would place Florida where Minnesota is right now. That would put Miami in southern Minnesota, which has a nice climate.

I would place France like this.

"Northern" forest in the extreme north, cold and snowy winters in the north, more extreme in the west, "subtropical" south and even a bit of a warm coastal strip for palm lovers in the southeastern exclave.

Paris would be a bit east of Fort Wayne, IN, which I think is a great climate for you.
