I think inherent in the post is the idea of pleasant summer nights as well. That would mean low temps in the upper 50's to 60'sF range I would think.

The poster acknowledged winter dips, so not thinking S. Florida. Also, pleasant temps in summer the southern US does not have. Probably somewhere coastal in the Mid-Atlantic like VA Beach would have more of those types of pleasant days, particularly in Spring and Autumn. I think the OP should have stated low temp preferences at night which would help pick a locale.

VA Beach appears to have just as warm, if not warmer, nights as Atlanta in summer and I imagine has a good bit of humidity. Certainly better than FL or the gulf coast but not really that much better or worse than the inland/upper south.

Much of the gulf coast and atlantic up to NC has the most days in the 70s.

LONGEST run of 70/80 degree days is what I'm hunting for.

Definitely do not want to live in the mountains, south Florida, or New York state..
--->> the milder the better for the longest period of time possible.

Though I hadn't considered humidity, I have a terrible crush on the beach,
and will endure bad hair days to walk on the sand whenever the car steers me in that direction..

You know it's Florida! Including coastal GA and the coastal Carolinas.
