If cities like Chicago and Beijing are "four seasonal" climates, what cities would be two seasonal or three seasonal climates?
Two season: Sydney, Brisbane, LA, Perth?
Three season: Istanbul, London, Shanghai?
Los Angeles & Sydney actually have 3 seasons (spring, summer & fall), and Brisbane is more like the border line between 2 & 3 seasons. London only has 2 season(spring & fall). Actually, London's "summers" are just slightly warmer than Brisbane's "winters", except Brisbane has cooler nights than London in June-July.
Basically any tropical climate has 2 or 3 seasons. Miami and Rio, for example, have a warm, dry season (winter) and a hot, wet season (summer). Some in India have 3, with a warm, dry season followed by a hot dry season and then monsoon.

Your climate is apparently in the same hardiness zone as Atlanta Georgia or Fort Worth Texas according to you, No?

I'm in a 8a microclimate (average annual lowest temp of 10ºF), yes, because I'm right on the sound. Obviously those cities have significantly milder winters, but the hardiness zone is the same. If Atlanta or Dallas were coastal, they would probably be like zone 9. I do grow windmill palms, have since 2005. How does this relate to this thread topic of 2 or 3 season climates?

The San Francisco Bay Area is three seasons. The leaves finish falling off the trees the last two weeks in December. The buds start appearing by the second week of January. New Years Day kind of feels like the beginning of Winter, but it's also the end. It's all warmer from then on. Rarely, if ever, does it get below freezing and snow only falls once in a while at the higher elevations, and even that is wet slushy snow that melts quickly.
The Oregon Coast here is two seasons. The wet season and the dry season. That's it.
