Besides you seem to think trans people are sexual predators, how many incidents of trans people abusing children in public toilets have you actually seen reported? A pedo would likely hide in normal separate sex toilets anyway, so I don't think "same sex" or "gender neutral" toilets are actually going to put anyone at anymore risk than they currently are using a public toilet.
No it isn't. People on the internet have a tendency to grossly exaggerate the impact these 'vanity projects' have on voters in the real world. I'd be very surprised if even a small minority of voters were even remotely influenced by such nonsense. Other things take precedence, and I suspect Trump running on an isolationist, protectionist platform was the thing that secured him votes, tht and his promise to bring back jobs to certain regions.
The media also played a role in bringing such issues to the fore. It's well observed that the Democrats were busy wasting their time with things such as identity politics, while Trump was heading out to the Midwest and promising to bring back jobs, as you eluded to.
I'd be more disturbed if my daughter saw a wang than my son, if I had kids. Anyway, I don't even understand this unisex bathroom debate, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The whole issue is revolved around appeasing a very tiny minority of people.

The left's "obsession" a lot of the times is just counteracting right-wing ignorance on these issues. Right-wingers love to have strong opinions over things like LGBQT rights that doesn't harm or negatively affect anyone for some reason, it's really odd. The left's argument a lot of the time is "live and let live, why have such a strong opinion over this?" At least that's my argument and a lot of other left-wingers I've seen.
Also, transgendered people or unisex bathrooms wasn't really much of an issue during the elections anyways, so to say it's a reason behind DT winning is misguided.
BTW - I think you're a reasonable person for the most part, so I'm not really trying to criticize or needlessly argue with you. Just giving my POV is all.
Trump is a moron plain and simple. He's the exact stereotype of the "ignorant American" that the rest of the world has against this country, it's honestly disgusting that what we would even vote for a guy like that. Goes to show the nature/state of mind of many Americans....
