Both have comparable size and similar climate types in one another continent.
The main differences are precipitation patterns and having a subtropical island or not.
Also the frequency of thunderstorms is notable as despite the average precipitation, Indiana experiences far more strikes than South Korea.

Will go with Indiananapolis vs. Seoul and South Korea overall better than Indiana because of Busan and Jeju Island which are better than anything in Indiana.

Indianapolis and Indiana. Drier, sunnier, more variable, likely more snowy. Also, no horrible, humid rainy but not stormy summers. Indiana winters aren't wet enough to offset its other advantages.

Indianapolis easily.

Good comparison...very similar average highs month to month...but....

Seoul huge summer rainfall sticks out like a sore thumb...
as Trump would say, "Very very bad".
A whopping 30 inches during just two months ...july and august...
the two critical summer months are wrecked by way too much rain,
Indianapolis gets humid....just imagine Seoul humidity

Indiana state vs country of Korea ...a bit tougher choice but I still
have to go with Indiana. Better 4 season climate with a bit more sunshine too.

Seoul has 27.6% of possible sunshine in July. That's a really cloudy summer climate!

Indianapolis for more sun and less rain. Not sure about the wider regions just yet.

Indianapolis. Seoul has nice and wet summers, but it seems that thunder isn't very common. Also, Indy has snowier winters. Would also take Indiana over South Korea too.
