So if I visit Los Angeles, do L.A.'s humidity is like experiencing humidity of a highland/mountain city/town?
Yes. It depends on what highland/mountain city/town though. Some are more humid than others. I don't know where you live so I can't say, but LA is similar in humidity to Nairobi, Kenya for example.
I'm talking about city proper here! Just be glad I didn't include Skellefteå just to p*ss you off
I don't think they'll be too bad in summer. I just did anything that was below 25C and not inside the tropics (to avoid high sun angles/altitudes in places like Bogotá and La Paz for example where summers are anything but pleasant if arriving just like that.) I don't think I'd need an AC unit anytime in Auckland given it hardly ever gets above 30C for example
on average Auckland isn’t too bad... but the main bringers of those rare 30 degrees days are northerly winds from the tropical seas... which bring the higher humidity. Sometimes you can go through an entire summer without them occurring... but when they do it’s a sweat fest for sure.
Try Europe (except Mediterrranean basin), Alaska, Russia or Canada.
