Europe gets the best weather in the world for its latitude by a huge distance even allowing for the cloudiness . Places in coastal Canada and Japan around the mid to high latitudes get the same cloudiness but are freezing cold ,and where the locations do get sunshine over 2,000 it is generally too cold to live

or Stehekin. But I have a feeling you will like Roseburg best.

If you stretched it down to Oregon, PNW would have had a chance, as it stands, France stomps this.

I don't think this should be as far apart as it is, I think places like Nice and Monaco are stealing this for France. I'm not sure anywhere on the west coast can match those year-round climates combined with warm sea temperatures.

In defence of France, I think it has a great combination between northern Europe and southern Europe, which can over a lot of people.

See this green in the place of the Massif Central makes me believe the first map is more accurate. In Massif Central it's too high to be oceanic stricto sensus. It's mostly with mountain influences and closer to continental in the north- east.
