Overall, a really sunny month with nights a degree cooler and crispy in general. All that deluge was from the first few days of the month, a continuation of March's strand of wet days.
I decided to start recording precipitation days manually (I use no mm threshold; even the lightest drizzle counts as a precipitation day).
Just like March, April was pretty boring. We had a pretty nice thunderstorm on April 1st, though. They are very rare here so I always drop what I'm doing just to watch the lightning flashes.

Turku's record high for April was 11.1C. Yes, you read right. 11.1C. Little Baba wasn't even close to be born when this happened the last time, that was in 1992. Also for the first time in history March had a higher record high than April.

Comments: April for all 5 stations was warmer than average. 3 of the 5 stations had above average precipitation and 4 out of 5 stations received no snow. Believe it or not the average low for all 5 stations in April was warmer than the average high in March this year.
