None of you are listening to what I'm saying though. I am happy with a normal summer. We haven't had one for ages. A normal summer would have 200 hrs or more from May to August. The last 10 summers have only seen 4 months with above average sun hours, and only 6 months where 200 hrs were recorded.

That's climate for you, that's what happens. You've also been treated to some of the hottest summers, months and days that the UK have ever had. You can't expect decade after decade to at least be average.

Exactly, if anything he's it's been a decent time to be alive for someone living in London. Some bellow average periods, but also some record breaking heat at times.

We had 2003 and 2006, but normally those summers would occur every 10 years or so.

I just want average temps and average sun, we've had enough years of below average sun now.

It's the new normal bruv. Get used to it.

Just pretend you're experiencing a normal summer in Cambridge.

We will have a run of good summers eventually to even out the run of crap that we've had.

We definitely won't have several sunny, warm summers on the trot. It is evidently much easier to get cloudy, cool summers in succession.

We have had several good ones in a row before, with an average or poor one in the mix.
